Meet Edward Stolar, MD
Dr. Edward Stolar is a board-certified dermatologist providing care to patients in the DMV as well as many patients from around the world for over 40 years. He started this practice after finishing his Dermatology residency at George Washington University Medical Center where he also attended medical school. While a student he was awarded the Rosenberg prize for excellence in Dermatology. He attended the University of Rochester graduating with a B.A in Biology and English.
He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at George Washington University. He previously served as Senior Attending at the Washington Hospital Center where he trained many residents in dermatology. He worked as a consultant and volunteer at Whitman Walker Clinic during the early years of the AIDS epidemic. As a member of the DC Medical Society, he served as chairman of the Professional Standards Committee for over 10 years.
Dr. Stolar has received numerous top doctor awards from the Washingtonian, Checkbook magazine, and the Washington Post over the course of his career. He is a perennial favorite of his patients with excellent ratings on google, yelp and other websites.
He offers comprehensive medical services as well as the many popular cosmetic services of fillers, botox and lasers and other procedures. His cosmetic training began in residency and has been refined over 40 years of practice providing the most current and sophisticated modalities. Dr. Stolar believes in a patient-centered approach with the provision of excellent care including promptly seeing patients, active listening and developing a trusting doctor-patient relationship.
